Refuge International currently has medical missions traveling to San Raymundo, Chocola and Sarstun, Guatemala. There are a total of six to seven medical missions a year with varying group sizes.
Due to increased costs, the cost of all mission trips is $750. Students' fees will be $700. For the San Raymundo mission teams, this includes one night's stay in Antigua at the end of the trip. Staying an additional night in Antigua after the San Raymundo trips only, will cost an additional $75. For the San Raymundo teams only, please note on the application if you will be staying one night or two.
Our trips fill up quickly. Please submit your application early to assure your spot on one of our teams.
Reserving Your Place
The following are required for reserving your place on a Refuge Mission Trip:
- Online registration
- Waiver and Consent Form
- Copy of current passport
- Copy of current medical license (if applicable)
- Copy of your airline travel itinerary (you are required to handle your own airfare - please note, designated flights for your trip can be found on this web page)
- Fee of $750 ($700 for students), which covers all lodging, meals during the mission, meals, luggage tags, t-shirt & medical supplies to be used on the trip. A nonrefundable $100 deposit is required with your application; the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to departure date. T-shirts, luggage tags and travel packet will be sent to you when the balance is paid.
